A review meeting about Damal Caafimaad Project Progress for the past six month was held between the Ministry of Health Development and the World Bank.
The meeting was attended by the Director General Director of the Ministry of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland, the Directors of the various departments of the Ministry, senior officials from the World Bank, which supports the Damal Caafimaad Health Project in Marodijex Region and the officials of the organization implementing the project. During the meeting, there was a discussion about the progress of the Damal Caafimaad Health Project in the past six months, as well as the future plans of the Health Project, where it was presented how the project is running in the designated health areas.
The delegation from the World Bank that came to the country to observe the progress of the Damal Caafimaad project, in the coming days will visit some of the areas where the project is underway, and will hold various meetings with the officials of the Ministry. And the centers where the project is on-going.
The Health Project is funded by the World Bank, and supports 49 health centers in Marodijeh Region, and is implemented by the Alight Agency, and the Ministry of Health Development is monitoring its implementation.
The project is designed to increase and improve the quality of health services provided by these facilities.
