The Minister of Health and a large delegation left for a working trip to the Eastern Regions.

The Minister of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland, Hussein Bashir Hirsi, and a large delegation led by him, left for a working trip to the Eastern Regions of Somaliland.

The Minister and his delegation included the Director General of the Ministry of Health Development, Ahmed Mohamud Jama and some of the Directors of the various departments of the Ministry.

The delegation officially arrived in Burco City, where they delivered medical supplies and important medicines intended to strengthen health services in the Eastern Regions of Somaliland. These materials and medicines are part of the Ministry’s efforts to improve the quality and reach of health services, especially in times of increased demand or emergency situations.

The purpose of this work trip was to directly monitor the state of health services in those regions, to assess the existing needs, and to ensure that the health centers have enough resources and drugs to serve the community efficiently.

The minister and his delegation held meetings with regional officials, health center management, and frontline workers, encouraging them to strengthen cooperation and speed up services.

This step shows how the Ministry of Health Development is committed to providing quality health services to all regions of the country, and focusing specifically on areas of need.
