The Ministry of Health Development, JSL, today conducted an awareness campaign on mental health at Mohamed Mooge Primary/Secondary School.
The awareness campaign, which was specially organized by the Mental Health Department of the Ministry of Health Development, was also attended by members from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments.
The awareness campaign team from the Ministry of Health, especially the Mental Health Department, conveyed important messages to the students about mental health care. The students were made aware of, The importance of mental health, Not to harass people with mental illness,To have compassion for people suffering from mental illness, And to understand that mental illness is a treatable disease, but not a punishment or wrath of God.
During the awareness campaign, the students were asked questions related to mental health, which were conducted in a competitive manner. Four students who answered the questions correctly won various prizes, including a book bag, a school term book, pens and crayons.
