Deputy Minister of Health Development Receives Medical Supplies from World Vision

The Deputy Minister of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland, Ms. Samsam Mohamed Salah, today officially received medical supplies from World Vision, which are intended to enhance the quality of health services in the country.

The handover ceremony took place at the Ministry’s Medicines Warehouse, and was attended by officials from the ministry, such as the Director and Deputy Director of the National Medicines Warehouse, representatives from World Vision, and members of the health community.

The medical supplies handed over to the Ministry consist of essential equipment and supplies for health facilities, which will greatly contribute to the health needs of health care facilities in the country, especially those currently under primary health care support programs.

Ms. Samsam Mohamed Salah, who made a brief statement at the handover ceremony, thanked World Vision for their active role in improving health services. She said that this donation comes at a crucial time for the country, noting that the Ministry is giving special priority to developing health infrastructure under basic services.
