
Director General of the Ministry of Health Development, Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Jama, today officially opened a training organized by the Ministry’s Department of Vaccination and Child Health, which focused on the Reaching Every District Microplanning Training.

The opening of the training was attended by the Director and Deputy Director of the Department of Vaccination and Child Health, officials from the Ministry’s partner agencies in the field of health, as well as immunization program managers from the six regions of the country and representatives from 16 districts across the country.

The objective of the training was to strengthen the knowledge and skills of health workers at the regional and district levels, so that they can effectively prepare plans to strengthen routine immunization services, as part of the ministry’s efforts to achieve quality health services for the entire community.

The training, which will last for three days, was led by Director General Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Jama urged the participants to actively benefit from the training and use the knowledge they gain in their work and the community they serve.
The Director General, Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Jama, said that these trainings are important for developing the capacity of health workers and implementing plans to expand vaccination services, noting that the ministry is committed to continuing such trainings to build the capacity of health workers in the country.
