
YThe Director General of the Ministry of Health Development, Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Jama, officially opened a ceremony to launch free health services that began at the Daryeel State Hospital in Hargeisa.

The seven-day program is intended to provide care to mothers, infants, the elderly and the underprivileged community living in the Kililka, Daami, Naaso Hablood neighborhoods and their surrounding areas. The services include free treatment, testing, and healthcare.

The Director of the Public Health Department, Dr. Ahmed Askar, spoke at the opening, noting the importance of the program to the community and calling on the public to fully benefit from it.

Also, the Director of the Health Services and Hospital Development Department, Juweeriya Abdirashid Farah, and Xanaan Awad Ahmed from the Public Health Department, the heads of Daryeel Hospital and health experts spoke at the event.
Finally, Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Jama handed over medicines, medical supplies and laboratory equipment to the hospital, underlining that the Ministry is committed to providing quality health services to the entire Somaliland community.
