The Coordinator of the Ministry of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland in Maroodijeex Region, Dr. Mahad Abdi Yaasin, today officially concluded a training jointly organized by the Ministry of Health Development, Child Development Unit, Department of Community Health Services, and UNFPA.
The 5-day training focused on long-term child development services, and was intended for health workers from daycare centers in Hargeisa.This training is part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the technical skills of health service providers, in order to improve the quality, accessibility and convenience of child development services in Maroodijeex region.
Finally, the Coordinator urged the participants of the training to take the knowledge they learned back to their places of origin, so that the community can be provided with comprehensive and quality health services.
