The Minister of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland, Dr. Hussein Bashir Hirsi, inaugurated the 3-month evaluation meeting of the better-live project supported by the FCDO Office and running in the Togdheer, Daadmadheedh, Awdal and Salal regions.
The meeting was attended by directors of departments, officials from the Ministry of Health Development, heads of UNICEF, Save the Children and Mercy USA as well as the Deputy Head of the British Royal Office in Hargeisa.The meeting analyzed the achievements and challenges of the project over the past 3 months.
It was agreed to further improve the health services provided by the centers supported by the project.The Minister of Health Development finally thanked the participants of the meeting for their time and efforts to improve the health services in the country, and he also promised that he is always ready to cooperate with other health agencies and stakeholders.
