
The Minister of Health Development Dr. Hussain Bashir Hirsi who was part of the large delegation led by the President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdilahi Iro who was laying the stone for the road connecting the cities of Hargeisa and Balligubadle.

When the ceremony of laying the stone for this road was over, the Minister of the Ministry of Health Development already started his work by inspecting the general hospital in Balligubadle town.

First of all, the minister held a large meeting with the health and hospital authorities, after listening to various reports, the director of the Balligubadle hospital and the regional health coordinator, to get a complete report on the condition of the hospital and the general health of the Hawd region, the existing needs and the challenges that need to be solved urgently.

After that, the Minister inspected the various parts of the general hospital in Balligubadle, seeing with his own eyes the great work that is going on in the hospital and the various services it provides.

The Minister of Health Development, on the other hand, took over medical supplies from the Minister of Social Work and Family Affairs, Mrs. Milgo Mohamed Sanbaloolshe, while officially handing them over to the Director of Balligubadle Hospital

Finally, the Minister visited the Tuberculosis Hospital in Balligubadle, where he held various meetings with the hospital administration and staff, and listened to various reports about the hospital’s working process and the challenges it faces.

After that, he handed over a laboratory-type machine intended for the Tuberculosis Hospital in Balligubadle, and instructed them to continue their efforts to serve their community.
