Medical Supplies Handed Over to Hargeisa Group Hospital

The Somaliland Ministry of Health Development (MoHD) and King’s Global Health Partnerships (KGHP) have jointly handed over medical supplies to Hargeisa General Hospital, which are intended to control infectious diseases in health facilities.

The handover ceremony was attended by the Director and Deputy Director of Hargeisa General Hospital, the Director and Deputy Director of the Department of Health Services and Hospital Development, the Head of Regional Relations of the Ministry and other officials from King’s Global Health Partnerships. The Director General of the Ministry of Health Development, Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Jama, officially handed over the supplies to the Hargeisa General Hospital administration.

The supplies are part of efforts to reduce the spread of infections within health facilities, while improving the quality of health services provided.This project is part of the National Quality Improvement Programme (NQIP), which is jointly implemented by the Ministry of Health Development (MoHD) and KGHP, and is financially supported by Qatar Charity.

These materials were handed over to Hargeisa Hospital today, and will also be delivered to all government hospitals where this project operates.
