The Minister of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland, Dr. Hussein Bashir Hirsi, today met with Francis Anyansi, a senior official of UNFPA, and the UNFPA Leaders in Somaliland.
The meeting, which was attended by the Minister, the Director of Planning and Policy Development and the Minister’s Advisor, aimed to strengthen the partnership between the Ministry of Health Development and UNFPA and to enhance health services based on community needs.
During the meeting, both parties discussed in depth how to further strengthen the ongoing partnership and accelerate UNFPA projects in Somaliland. The Minister particularly thanked the organization for its prominent role in the development of health services, noting that the Ministry is ready to expand the partnership to achieve tangible and tangible results.
