
The Minister of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland, Dr. Hussein Bashir Hirsi, and a large delegation led by him, paid a working visit to the areas of Ina Cunaaye, Bargoo and Sayla in Hawd Region. The purpose of the trip was to deliver medical supplies, medicines and a team of doctors to the areas to participate in the development of health services for the communities living in those areas.

This important trip is part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to provide quality health services to rural regions and areas with special needs. The Minister and his delegation were warmly welcomed in the areas they visited, and the supplies and medicines were officially handed over, which were directly intended for the health facilities in the area.

The delegation accompanying the Minister on the trip included the Director General of the Ministry of Assembly Relations and the Constitution, the Director of the Public Health Department, the Hawd Regional Health Coordinator, and other officials from the Ministry.

During the inspection, the Minister and his delegation held meetings with the district administration, the health community and various sectors of the community, listening to reports on the state of health services, existing needs and challenges facing health facilities.
