
The Ministry of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland and the charity Medacross today officially signed a landmark three-year agreement. The agreement aims to improve health services for underprivileged children, especially those living in displaced areas of the country.

The agreement signing ceremony held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Health Development was officially signed by the Minister of Health, Dr. Hussein Bashir Hirsi and the President of Medacross, Dr. Daniele Regge. The new agreement marks a formal partnership between the two parties, with a focus on providing surgeries to children in need of urgent medical care and who lack financial resources.

Minister Dr. Hussein Bashir Hirsi welcomed the President of Medacross, thanking them for their continued support to the underprivileged community in Somaliland.
For his part, Dr. Daniele Regge said that his organization is fully committed to implementing the agreed activities, noting that the plan is to reach thousands of children in need of specialized medical care.

In addition, Medacross today handed over to the Ministry an ambulance, which will be used exclusively for medical activities in the areas of displacement.
