The Ministry of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland, in collaboration with UNFPA, organized a national Training of Trainers (ToT) that lasted for 11 days.
The training was attended by health workers from all 6 regions of the country, with the aim of strengthening the knowledge and skills of the workers to retrain other workers working in the health supply management system.
The main topics trained included, Health stock and material management, Health warehouse procedures and management .
The training was officially opened by the Director of the Department of Medicines and Medical Equipment Stockpiles of the Ministry of Health Development, noting that a proper stock and information management system is the backbone of the efficiency of health services in the country.
