The Ministry of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland, today, on the 5th day, conducted its quarterly inspection of the Health Facilities in Maroodijeex Region under the Damal Caafimaad Health Care Project and other Health Facilities in Maroodijeex Region.
This inspection, which is on the 5th day, was led by the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Health Development, Ms. Samsam Mohamed Salah, and was accompanied by the Directors of the Departments, the Health Service and Hospital Development, the Community Health Service, the heads of the Ministry’s Health Care Project, the Head of the ALLIGHT organization, which implements the Health Care Project, the coordinator of the Maroodijeex regions and other officials from the Ministry of Health Development.
In this inspection, the officials first assessed the health conditions in the entire Maroodijeex region, especially in the Gabilay Region, first of all, they visited the General Hospital in Gabilay City, the Gabilay Central Nursery and the New Gabilay Maternity and Child Care Center.
The heads of these health centers that were inspected adequately briefed the officials of the Ministry of Health Development on the services they provide to the community, the challenges they face, and any plans they need to assist the Ministry in general, especially the Damal Caafimaad project.
