
The Coordinator of the Ministry of Health Development in Daadmadheedh Region officially launched a program in Oodwayne town to provide free health services to mothers and children.The program, which was jointly launched by the Ministry of Health Development and UNFPA, was attended by the Director of the Oodwayne General Hospital and other officials from the Ministry’s headquarters.

The Coordinator of Health in Daadmadheedh Region said that maternal and child health services play a vital role in improving public health, as maternal health is the basis for the health of the family and the community as a whole.

This new project is part of the Ministry of Health Development’s ongoing efforts to improve basic health services, to provide quality health care to the community, and to prevent deaths and illnesses related to mothers and children.
