Minister of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland hands over the old and new management of Hargeisa General HospitalThe Minister of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland, Dr. Hussein Bashir Hirsi, today officially handed over the old management of Hargeisa General Hospital to the new officials recently appointed by the President of the Republic of Somaliland.
The handover ceremony, which was organized at a high level, was held at the Hargeisa General Hospital, and was attended by senior officials including the Minister of Airports Development, the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, the Deputy Minister of Health, the Chairman of the Civil Service Commission, the Director General of the Ministry of Health Development, the Director General of the Ministry of Transport, commanders of the National Armed Forces, members of parliament, heads of institutions and universities in the country.
During the event, various officials who spoke at the event gave encouraging speeches.
They unanimously praised the work done by the previous officials, and wished the new officials God’s blessings in the difficult task entrusted to them.
For their part, the newly appointed officials expressed their commitment to continue the previous efforts to improve health services, and will work to enhance and improve the service they provide to the community.
