
The Director General of the Ministry of Health Development, Dr. Ahmed Mohamud Jama, officially opened a training course for vaccinators against polio, measles and pneumonia in Burco, Togdheer region.

This training, which is a prelude to the national campaign to prevent these diseases, is expected to officially begin next week in all regions of the country. The aim of the training is to improve the quality and knowledge of vaccinators so that they can effectively participate in the vaccination campaign, playing an important role in protecting the community, especially children.

The Director General was accompanied by the head of regional relations at the Ministry of Health Development, the health coordinator of Togdheer region, representatives of international organizations, and health leaders in Togdheer region at the opening of the training.Dr. Ahmed Mohamud Jama spoke about the importance of this training in ensuring the general health of the community, noting that the Ministry is making great efforts to rid the country of dangerous vaccine-preventable diseases.

Finally, he thanked all the institutions and health workers participating in this campaign, urging them to fulfill their duties honestly and efficiently so that the community can receive quality health services.
