The Minister of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland, Dr. Hussein Bashir Hirsi, accompanied by the Director General of the Ministry of Health Development, Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Jama, who has been on a working trip to parts of the Eastern Regions of the Republic of Somaliland, today inspected some of the health centers in Burco city and handed over medical equipment (Ultrasound) intended to be part of the ongoing health service efforts in the health centers.
In this inspection, which was accompanied by the Togdheer Regional Health Coordinator, Dr. Abdicasis Omar Muse, he showed the health centers one by one to the health center officials and reported on the general health situation in the region, especially in the centers inspected.
The Minister and the Director General, whoheld separate meetings with the staff and administration of the health centers they inspected, listened to various reports from the center administrations, promising them that they are ready to respond to any challenges they face, and they are also required to redouble their efforts and work for their communities.
