The Ministry of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland, in collaboration with the Damal Caafimaad Project, today organized the quarterly meeting of the Health Data Unit, which will last for two days.
This important meeting was attended by regional health data heads, central health data officers, and regional and district data officers. The purpose of the meeting was to conduct an in-depth analysis and analysis of health data, in order to improve its quality and use in planning health services in the country.
The meeting was officially opened by the Director of the Planning and Policy Development Department, the Health Coordinator of Maroodijeex Region and the Head of the Health Data Repository of the Ministry.
The Ministry aims to improve transparency and access to quality data that is essential for decision-making and the development of health services in the country. These regular data analysis meetings are an important pillar of the ministry’s development strategy.
