The Ministry of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland has today organized the annual meeting to review and evaluate the health sector of the country and plan for the year 2025.
The Ministry of Health Development JSL, which is held once every year to discuss health issues throughout the country and review the things that have been done in the last year’s plan, plan for the next year and the priorities that need to be addressed.
The meeting, which will last for two days, was attended by the highest officials of the Ministry of Health Development, such as the Minister of the Ministry of Health Development, Dr. Hussain Bashir Hirsi,
the Deputy Minister of the Ministry, Mrs. Samsam Mohamed Salah,
the Director General of the Ministry Dr. Ahmed Mohamud Jamaac, all the directors of the various departments of the Ministry, the heads of the Ministry’s departments, the various heads of the Ministry’s programs, coordinators and directors of hospitals in the regions of the country and consultants. This year’s meeting will focus on issues such as* How to review and guide basic health services.
* Will be consulted on how to set up National Health Insurance.
* How to make a large blood bank (Blood Bank) and specific days for blood donation.
* To inquire about the use and quality of medicine and how the government should come up with quality medicines.
* Designing and reviewing the country’s health facilities and improving health service providers.
