The Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland Mr. Liban Yusuf Osman Gahnuug participated today in an event for the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which was organized by the General Hospital in Hargeisa.
The aim of this commemoration and awareness, which is celebrated every year in the world, is to inform the public to do tests related to breast cancer and also to connect with medical centers and doctors.
Dr. Adna Adan, doctors, medical experts and officials from the Suban Agency that works with the Ministry of Health Affairs also attended the event.
The Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Health Development, the director of the general hospital and the officials who participated in this celebration urged the Somaliland community in general, especially the women, to closely monitor their health conditions and also connect with doctors and hospitals to prevent the effects of breast cancer. It happens to many people all over the world.
