The Director General of the Ministry of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland, Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Jama, today officially transferred positions among the directors of the old departments and the directors of the new departments of the departments in a Handing-Over Ceremony at the Ministry Conference Hall.
The new officials were recently appointed by the Minister of Health Development, Dr. Hussein Bashir Hirsi, and are expected to inject new momentum into the work of the ministry.
The Handing-Over ceremony, which was held at the headquarters of the Ministry, was attended by senior staff of the Ministry of Health Development, agencies working with the ministry, distinguished doctors and other guests of honor.
During the event, the outgoing officials delivered various speeches about their work experiences, gratitude, and practical suggestions to the new directors, while the new officials also presented their plans to develop the responsibilities assigned to them.
Finally, the Director General Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Jama congratulated the new directors, wishing them to carry out the work assigned to them efficiently, responsibly, and competently, while also thanking the previous directors for their role in developing the departments they led.
