The Ministry of Health Development in collaboration with the Taiwan ICDF and Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital organized a training on the Health Information Management System in the country’s hospitals.
The training was provided to the staff of EerigaHealth Development Dr. Hussein Bashir Hirsi and the Ambassador of Taiwan to Somaliland, Mr. Allen Lou, and was attended by 10 members including doctors, nurses, and other members of the Eerigaabo Hospital administration.
The Minister, who elaborated on the importance of the training, urged the trainees to make the most of it and apply it to their own work and hospitals.
He also spoke about the importance of developing the hospital’s health information storage system, and added that the Ministry of Health Development is committed to developing modern health information storage systems.
This project is ongoing in the six major regions, especially in the major hospitals in the regions of the country.
