
The Minister of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland, Dr. Hussein Bashir Hirsi, has cut the rope to open a new 24-hour pharmacy, which has been added to Hargeisa General Hospital to enhance the pharmaceutical services provided to patients.Upon arrival at the hospital, the Minister was welcomed by the Hargeisa General Hospital administration, led by the Director of the Hospital, Dr. Ahmedweli Daahir Haddi, and the Deputy Director of the Hospital, Abdirahman Cayngal.

The Director of Hargeisa General Hospital, Dr. Ahmedweli Daahir Haddi, briefed the Minister on the importance of the new pharmacy and the role it will play in meeting the pharmaceutical needs of patients. He noted that the pharmacy will operate continuously 24 hours a day, which will facilitate access to medicines at any time needed.For his part, the Minister of Health Development, JSL, praised the hospital administration and staff for their efforts, dedication and progress in improving health services.

He also praised the implementation of this new pharmacy, which will greatly contribute to improving the quality of health services provided to the community.This new pharmacy will be part of the Ministry of Health Development’s efforts to strengthen health services in the country, facilitating access to medicines at any time and improving the quality of health services at Hargeisa General Hospital.
