The Director General of the Ministry of Health Development, Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Jamaac, inaugurated a two-day meeting on the National Nutrition and Food Security Policy.
The meeting was attended by the Director of the Planning Department, the Director of the Public Health Department, and the Head of Nutrition and Food Security, as well as the Ministry’s collaborating agencies, WHO, UNICEF, and WFP, who explained the importance of this policy and its role in improving public health.
The meeting was also attended by the Medical Association, various sectors of society, including civil society organizations, international organizations, and universities in the country.
