Officials from the Ministry of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland and a high-level delegation from Israel visited Sahil Region on the second day of their visit.The delegation, led by the Director of the Planning Department and the Head of Regional Relations of the Ministry, was accompanied by experts in various health sectors from Israel.
The purpose of this trip was to exchange knowledge, strengthen cooperative relations and build lasting cooperation between the two parties, especially in the field of developing health services.During the trip, the delegation visited the districts of Sheikh and Berbera, where they were welcomed by the Sahil Region administration and health authorities in the region.
The delegation also inspected various sections of the Berbera General Hospital, where they listened to various reports from the hospital administration and medical staff. These reports related to the health services provided, the work process, the achievements and the challenges.
