The Minister of Health Development Dr. Hussain Bashir Hirsi and the Director General of the Ministry of Health Development Dr. Ahmed Mohamud Jama, today launched a program to improve the quality of health information (HMIS) submitted by health centers.
A brief event that took place at the Ministry of Health Development was presented with the introduction of equipment consisting of computers, printers, tables and chairs that were sold to sixty (60) centers.
The event were attended by, some of the Director of Departments of the Ministry of Health Development, the Heads of the Health Project of the Ministry, the Health Coordinator of Marodijex Region, the Head of the Alight Agency and some of the managers of the Medical Centers in Marodijex region.
The Minister and the Director General have preliminarily handed over a part of the Health Centers, equipment consisting of computers, printers, tables and chairs.This program is part of the Damal Health Project, a collaboration between the Ministry of Health Development and the World Bank.
The officials also cut the cordon, a building containing offices and a conference hall that will be owned by the Damal Medical Project.
