The Deputy Minister of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland, Dr. Mohamed Daahir, today officially opened the health services campaign at the Daryeel Community Hospital.
The Deputy Minister was accompanied by the Director of the Hospitals Department, Juweeriya Abdirashid Farah, and the Director of the Human Resources Department, Mr. Abdiqani Mohamed Hassan, at the opening of the health campaign.During the opening, the Deputy Minister inspected the various parts of the health campaign, becoming informed about the services being provided to the community. He also met with health workers and patients benefiting from the services, praising their efforts and hard work in providing the community with quality and free health services.
This health campaign provided the community with various health services, including, Eye screening and distribution of eyeglasses, Minor surgeries, Maternal and female health services, Child health services, Dental services, including teeth cleaning and extractionThis campaign was attended by experienced doctors and health professionals from Ethiopia and the United States, who volunteered to serve the community.
Finally, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Health Development thanked the management and staff of Daryeel Hospital for their efforts in improving health services, noting that such campaigns play an important role in improving community health and delivering health services to those in need.
