The Minister of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland, Dr. Hussain Bashir Hirsi, has recieved from the World Health Organization (WHO), medical supplies intended for emergency situations on behalf of MOHD.
A brief event held at the national drug storage center of the Ministry of Health Development was attended by the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Health Development, Ms. Samsam Mohamed Salah, the Director General of the Ministry of Health Development Dr. Mohamed Abdi Xergeeye, the head of the WHO office in Hargeysa, the director of the hospital department of the Ministry and the head of the medicine stock of the Ministry of Health Development.
The director-general and head of the WHO office in Hargeisa, who made various statements at the event mentioned that these materials were handed over to Ministry of Health in support of major efforts to control emergency medical conditions of the country.
The Minister of Health Development, Dr. Hussain Bashir Hirsi, who was officially recieved these medical resources from the WHO, thanked the WHO officials, and promised they will deliver to the health centers that were intended.
