The Director General of the Ministry of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland, Dr. Ahmed Mohamud Jama—accompanied by the Governor of the Togdheer Region and the Regional Health Coordinator—has handed over kidney dialysis machines to the General Hospital in the city of Burco.These machines are part of a commitment made by the President of the Republic of Somaliland and are intended to bolster efforts to improve healthcare services—specifically kidney dialysis—at the Burco General Hospital.
The equipment will significantly contribute to the advancement of dialysis services and enhance the hospital’s capacity to care for patients requiring such treatment. Furthermore, they play a crucial role in improving access to healthcare for the community in the Togdheer Region, particularly for individuals living with kidney conditions who require regular dialysis.
