LMSM Training Provided to Supply Chain Health Workers

The Ministry of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland, in collaboration with the international organization UNICEF, has conducted a key training on the use of the modern LSMS (Last Mile Monitoring System), which is designed to identify and track the supply of medicinal foods for malnourished children, especially RUTF (Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food).

The three-day training (06 – 08 May 2025) provided an in-depth analysis of the workings of the LSMS – a modern system for accounting and monitoring the traceability of RUTF medicines used to treat malnutrition.
