The Minister of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland. Dr. Hussain Bashir Hirsi and a delegation led by him who had set out a work-related trip to the eastern region reached the city of Barbara in the capital of the Sahel region.
The minister’s delegation included the Director General of the Ministry of Health Development. Dr. Mohamed Abdi Xergeye, some of the directors of the different departments of the Ministry, the heads of the departments of the Ministry and adviser
Instantly, the Minister held a meeting with the administration of the Sahil Region and the Health Authorities in the region.
After that the Minister and other officials of the m listened to various reports on the health activities of the Sahel Region, from the administration of the Sahel Region and the Regional Health officials.
After that, the delegation went through various inspections in the different sections of the General Hospital of the Sahil Region, the Regional Mental Hospital, the Regional Health Center and the Mother and Child Center in Jamalaye, while the minister cut the ribbon of new health projects and installations added to the general hospital was beautified.
