The Minister of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland, Dr. Hussein Bashir Hirsi, today inspected various patients being treated at the General Hospital in Hargeisa, including the people and the National Armed Forces.
The Minister was accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Health Development, Mrs. Samsam Mohamed Salah, members of the Ministry’s departments, and the Director General of the Hargeisa Hospital.
The Minister visited the patients and their companions one by one, asking about the way they were served and their general conditions, and listened to various reports from the administration and staff of the General Hospital who are treating these patients.
The Minister prayed to God to grant them speedy recovery, and also urged the staff and administration of the hospital to further enhance their service to their community, as the Ministry is always ready to provide any support and assistance.
The Minister also attended the general hospital, an event to present the surgeries carried out in the last five years at the general hospital in Hargeisa and the achievements of the hospital’s surgery department.
