The Director General of the Ministry of Health Development of Somaliland, Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Jama, today officially closed a meeting to raise health awareness among youth.This important meeting, which was jointly organized by the Department of Public Health of the Ministry of Health Development, the Midwives and Health Nurses Association, and UNFPA, was opened by the Director of the Department of Public Health, Dr. Ahmed Askar, who gave a keynote speech, who explained in detail the purpose and importance of this meeting for youth, especially in enhancing their knowledge of reproductive health and nutrition issues.
Dr. Askar noted that a good understanding of these issues by youth can lead to a healthy and active society.
Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Jama, who officially closed the meeting, thanked the participants of this important meeting as well as the partner organizations of the Ministry such as UNFPA, and the health professional organizations that play an important role in programs to raise health awareness in the country.May Allah be pleased with the Media Office of the Ministry of Health Development, JSL.
