
The Minister of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland, Dr. Hussein Bashir Hirsi, and a large delegation led by him went on a working trip to areas in the Maroodijeex Region, especially the Farawayne district and the towns of Mumin, Bandar-maan and Sayla.

The Minister’s delegation included the Director General of the Ministry of Constitution and Council Relations, the Acting Health Coordinator for the Maroodijeex Region, the Head of the Somaliland Office of Alight, and other officials.

First, the delegation inspected the Mother and Child Center in Farawayne district, where they met with the center’s management and health workers. In these meetings, they discussed ways to improve health services, while looking at existing challenges and urgent needs that need to be addressed.

After that, the delegation traveled to Bandar-maan city, where they visited the Mother and Child Center that was established in that district. They also officially handed over an ambulance for the district’s health services.

The ministerial delegation proceeded to Mumin town, where the foundation stone for the Mumin town Mother and Child Center was officially laid.
