The Ministry of Health Development of the Republic of Somaliland, in collaboration with the International Organization for Standardization (PSI), has conducted a major training on the Toolmoon storage system for medicines and the Inventory Management & LMIS (Logistics Management Information System) system.
The three-day training, which officially concluded today, was attended by medical staff from 25 private health facilities in Hargeisa.The objective of the training was to strengthen the knowledge and skills related to the proper management of medicines storage, their quality assurance, and the use of the LMIS system to improve the registration, monitoring and management of medicines supplies in health facilities.
